Mina Levitan-Babenskiene’s creative work is of considerable significance to the development of Lithuania’s textile art. The monumental character of her tapestries, their rational tectonic composition, spatial solutions and spontaneous harmony of colors, forms and texture make up her specific artistic language due to which Mina’s works are easily recognized.
Her huge tapestries, hanging in immense architectural spaces, as well as smaller size pieces and pastels can be found all over the world – from Vilnius to Paris, Barcelona, Tel Aviv, Johannesburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Boston and Lausanne.
I was responsible for creating original music to emphasize Mina’s artistic mastery.
